The original Facebook Creator Studio is gone: its publishing, inbox, insights, monetization and Rights Manager tools moved into Meta Business Suite for Pages and into the Professional dashboard for Pages and pro mode profiles. The name now belongs to a different product, an AI-powered Creator Studio app that Meta's help page for the app says runs only on iOS for now and is open to creators aged 18 or older in the US or Canada who have a Page or pro mode turned on.
So the answer to “where is Creator Studio?” depends on which one you mean. This guide maps each old task to its new home, splits the work between desktop and mobile, explains what the new app does, and flags the dashboard changes Meta has announced. It reflects Meta's pages as they read on October 1, 2026.
The old dashboard and the new app are different products
The old Creator Studio was Meta's hub for managing Pages and their content. Meta's article on creator tools in Meta Business Suite says most of its tools were moved into Meta Business Suite so you can run organic content and business activity in one place, and press coverage such as The Verge's report on the relaunch dates the shutdown of the original to 2023.
The new Creator Studio is a phone app. Meta announced it on June 24, 2026 in Your creator tools, reimagined, describing an AI companion built with a small group of test creators, and on August 12, 2026 its follow-up post said all creators using iOS in the US and Canada could download it. Meta's install page says Android and countries outside those two are coming soon and offers a waiting list.
Do not read the App Store listing as the eligibility rule. The App Store page shows a free, iPhone-only app with an age rating of 13+, but Meta's help page sets the minimum age to use Creator Studio at 18, and the help page is the one that decides whether your account gets in.
Old feature to new location
Pages and pro mode profiles end up in different places, because Meta's appeals article confirms that Meta Business Suite is not currently available to profiles in pro mode.

Two rows deserve their own guides. Metrics and their definitions are covered in our Facebook Insights glossary, and the move from Rights Manager to content protection, including matches and disputes, is in our guide to Facebook content protection for creators.
Desktop or mobile: a task list
Some tools exist on only one kind of device, which is why creators who used to do everything in a browser now find tasks missing.
Do these on a computer
- Bulk uploads, scheduled queues and the Planner calendar in Meta Business Suite.
- Rights Manager work, since Meta's Rights Manager page says it can only be used through Meta Business Suite and not on mobile devices.
- Page-level Policy issues reviews and Request another review appeals in Meta Business Suite.
- Downloading payout and earnings reports for your bookkeeping, covered in our guide to Facebook payout dates and payout accounts.
- Content-tab tables, benchmarking and A/B tests, which are easier to read on a large screen.
Do these on your phone
- The Creator Studio app itself, which needs an iOS device.
- Creator assistant, which Meta's help page says requires a mobile device, a Page or pro mode, and an age of at least 18, and may not be available in every region.
- Policy issues and appeals for pro mode profiles, which go through the violation notification and the Facebook app.
- Registering interest in Content Monetization, which Meta's March 2026 announcement says is done through the Monetization tab of the Professional dashboard in the Facebook mobile app while the program is invite-only; our guide to how Facebook Content Monetization pays covers the program itself.
Either works
- The Professional dashboard, which Meta's August 2025 refresh post says now offers a comments manager on the web on par with mobile.
- Content protection, which Meta's help page lets you open from the Content section on mobile or a computer.
Can't find a tool? Check these first
- No Monetization item in Meta Business Suite. Meta's eligibility guide says to open All tools and look for Monetization below Sell products and services.
- Monetization opens but features are missing. Meta's Meta Business Suite page for creators says some monetization, Subscriptions and Brand Collabs Manager features only appear if you are an admin of accounts already using those tools.
- No Rights Manager tab. The same page says Rights Manager is visible only after approval; otherwise you see an option to apply, and creators are now pointed to content protection instead.
- No Meta Business Suite at all. If you run a pro mode profile rather than a Page, that is expected, and the Professional dashboard is your toolset.
- The Creator Studio app will not install or sign in. Meta's app help page lists the requirements: a mobile device, iOS only for now, an age of at least 18, residence in the US or Canada, and a Page or pro mode.
What the new Creator Studio app does
Meta's help page for the app describes four main screens. Home summarizes recent performance, comments waiting for a reply, follower trends and suggested next steps. Analytics gives insights on your content. Community holds the AI features for comments, along with trending reels in your niche and creators to learn from. Content shows your library with an AI performance summary for each post, and you can create and publish posts from Home or Content.
The comment tool is the feature most creators try first, so read its rules. Meta's guide to managing comments with Creator Studio says the app picks priority comments using signals such as whether the commenter is a top fan, a subscriber or a Stars sender, drafts replies in your style, and posts nothing until you tap Send on each reply. It drafts only a handful at a time to keep engagement authentic, and replies go out on Facebook as your own comments, so you own whatever the draft says. Read each one before sending, especially to fans who mention personal details.
The help page also says creator assistant runs throughout the app, analyzes your account data, content performance and audience activity, and shares your conversations between Creator Studio and Facebook. Uninstalling the app does not affect your Facebook account or content. What the page does not describe is any payout, monetization onboarding or Rights Manager screen, so keep those jobs in the Professional dashboard and Meta Business Suite.
The planned Creator Dashboard split
The June 2026 announcement also said the Professional dashboard inside Facebook would be split over the following couple of months into a Creator Dashboard and a Business Dashboard, with the Creator Dashboard remaining home to the full creator toolset and the most detailed analytics. Alongside that, Meta said it was consolidating creator tools from Meta Business Suite into the web experience and had already added a content calendar, bulk upload and advanced insights. If your dashboard looks different from the screenshots in older tutorials, that rollout is the likely reason; check the new menus before assuming a tool has been removed.
Team access after Creator Studio
Shared team work now happens in Meta Business Suite, and only for Pages, where you can give editors and moderators task access without handing over the whole account. Pro mode profiles have no admin roles, and the Creator Studio app signs in with your own Facebook account, so there is no safe way to share either. If other people help run your presence, that is a strong argument for a Page, set out in our comparison of Facebook professional mode and Pages. When something in Meta Business Suite flags a restriction, our guide to Facebook monetization policy issues explains what each message means.
Limits of this map
Several pieces of this map are mid-rollout: the Creator Studio app is limited to iOS in the US and Canada, creator assistant availability varies by region, the dashboard split was announced rather than complete, and Rights Manager's retirement for creators has no published date. Menu names also differ between app versions and languages. Treat the table as a guide to where to look, confirm in your own account, and expect some rows to change. This reflects Meta's help pages and announcements on October 1, 2026.
