Fansly and LoyalFans publish the same standard creator share, 80% under Fansly's Terms of Service and in a LoyalFans announcement from August 2025, so the choice comes down to how you sell. Fansly runs everything through one profile with tiers, per-item permissions and an opt-in For You page, while LoyalFans adds standalone video and audio stores, per-type message pricing, live shows with tip goals, paid calls and a lifetime referral share. If your content qualifies on both, running them side by side is a workable option.
A note on sources before the comparison. Fansly's help centre and terms were fully readable on 1 October 2026. LoyalFans' website, including its terms page, asked visitors from Australia to verify their age first, so the LoyalFans side of this page rests on its public help centre and its own blog, and it does not compare terms-level rules such as content restrictions or AI policy. For Fansly's tools in more depth, see our guide to how Fansly works for creators; for other platforms, the Fansly alternatives shortlist sets LoyalFans beside the rest.
Side-by-side matrix
Each cell links to the page it summarises. Dates matter on the LoyalFans side, because some details come from blog posts rather than standing policy pages.

How the money side differs
With the share equal, timing and extras decide the money comparison. Fansly works on request: a sale clears its hold, you ask for a payout, and the method you chose sets the minimum and the delivery window. LoyalFans' August 2025 announcement describes payments on a twice-monthly cycle, which is simpler to plan around but slower to react if you need cash mid-cycle. LoyalFans' public pages that we could read do not give a payout minimum, so check the payout settings in your dashboard before you count on a particular withdrawal.
The extras run in LoyalFans' favour on paper. Its promo settings article offers a 5% lifetime revenue share for referring creators or fans, where Fansly's referral article promises a percentage without naming one. LoyalFans also runs promotional commission days, but a one-day event is not something to build a budget on. On the other side of the ledger, the LoyalFans message rule cuts both ways: paid messages only pay out if you reply within 72 hours, so an inbox you cannot cover is revenue you lose rather than revenue you defer.
One more caution: the LoyalFans payout-method list comes from a 2020 announcement. Methods change, so treat that row as a starting point and confirm in your account. Fansly's method list is current in its minimums article, and our Fansly payout status decoder explains how long each stage takes.
Profile-first versus store-first selling
The deeper difference is structural. On Fansly almost everything lives on one profile: a post can be free, follower-only, tier-gated or priced, and the same permission system governs messages and streams. Media a fan buys outright stays available to them even if you later delete it or your account, according to Fansly's permissions guide.
LoyalFans splits the shop from the subscription. Its audio store sells clips individually, and they are not included in a profile subscription; video store clips are sold as streams unless you allow downloads, and the fan-side video store article says buyers permanently own the streaming version. That shared store, searchable by tags across the site, is also the discovery surface LoyalFans' documentation describes in most detail, so clip titles and tags do the work that For You page previews do on Fansly.
In practice, a creator with a deep back catalogue of standalone clips may find the store model natural, while a creator who sells mainly through a subscription feed and messages may find Fansly's single profile easier to run. Neither platform publishes conversion or audience data we could cite, so test with tracking before moving your main promotion.
Promotion tools that work off the platform
The two platforms also differ in how much promotion they automate for you. LoyalFans leans towards broadcasting. Its account settings let you connect an X account and auto-post when you go live, gain a subscriber, receive a tip or sell a photo, video, GIF or audio post, and the clip upload form can announce each new video-store clip on X. The promo settings add embeddable widgets for your own website, with an optional silent promo video of 15 to 30 seconds that plays when you are live.
Fansly's approach is quieter. Its Connections setting links Twitch and X accounts so that people who follow you there may be recommended your profile, and the discoverability article says Fansly will never post on connected platforms or edit your information without permission. Measurement comes from tracking links rather than automatic posts.
Before switching on LoyalFans' auto-posts, read them as a fan would. A public post every time someone tips or buys can look like proof of demand or like noise, depending on your brand, and it repeats activity details on a platform with its own content rules. Pick the triggers that suit your audience, check them against X's rules, and leave the rest off.
Run-both checklist
If you decide to keep both, set them up in this order so neither page is left half-configured.
- Verify on each platform separately, and complete each one's paperwork for anyone who appears in your content before you upload it there.
- Submit tax documentation on both; Fansly's set is explained in our Fansly tax forms guide.
- Put both payout calendars side by side: Fansly on request after each hold, LoyalFans on its twice-monthly cycle.
- Map your Fansly tiers to a LoyalFans subscription price and bundle set that offers the same value, and write the mapping down.
- Decide which clips go to the LoyalFans store and which stay as priced posts on Fansly, and record it in one library sheet.
- Block out inbox time daily for LoyalFans, because its message settings only pay for paid messages answered within 72 hours.
- Set blocked regions on both platforms; Fansly can go down to city level, LoyalFans to US states and countries.
- Decide on watermarks. The LoyalFans watermark prints your LoyalFans address, so turn it off for media you also post on Fansly.
- Grant team access with each platform's own tool and review the list monthly: Fansly management sessions, LoyalFans delegated accounts.
- Give each platform its own tracking link on every social channel, so you can compare paying fans rather than clicks.
- If you share referral links, disclose the referral relationship wherever you post them.
For the weekly rhythm of keeping two pages fed, our two-platform operating guide is written for OnlyFans and Fansly, but its allocation matrix and routine adapt directly to LoyalFans. If AI-generated material is part of your plan, compare Fansly and Fanvue as well, since Fanvue publishes an explicit AI policy.
Limits of this comparison
The biggest limitation is on the LoyalFans side: we could not read its terms of service from Australia without an age check, so content rules, AI policy, payout minimums and termination terms are missing from the matrix, and the payout-method row relies on a 2020 post. LoyalFans' help centre is feature documentation rather than policy, and its blog posts are announcements tied to a date.
Everything here reflects pages as they read on 1 October 2026 and may change. Read both platforms' full terms before you upload, ask each support team in writing about anything that affects your income, and talk to a lawyer or accountant if a decision involves a contract, a company structure or a large balance.
