To become a Kick Partner in the sense most streamers mean, the KICK Partner Program that pays revenue per stream, you need a verified channel, a completed About section with social links, and the 30-day metrics listed in Kick's Partner Program help article: an average of 75 concurrent viewers, 30 hours streamed, 25 active subscriptions, 250 unique chatters, 3 VODs and at least 250 followers. You then email kickpartners@kick.com from your account's address with your username, or skip the streaming metrics through Fast Track if you already have an established audience elsewhere.
The vocabulary has a trap. Kick's June 2026 article also calls anyone who has streamed 5 cumulative hours and can switch on subscriptions a KICK Partner. Those are different milestones with different rewards, so this guide treats them as separate steps and then covers the rules and contract terms that come with the paid program.
Two milestones that share one name
Before tracking anything, be clear which milestone you are chasing. Kick's help center uses overlapping names for them, so this map lists what each one unlocks and every label Kick attaches to it.
| Milestone | What it unlocks | Names on Kick's own pages | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Five cumulative hours streamed | The Enable Subscriptions button, with sub revenue under the 95/5 split | Streamer (May 2026 article), Partner (June 2026 article), Affiliate or Partner (subscription and revenue pages) | Path to Streamer; revenue split |
| Channel verification | The right to apply for the Partner Program, plus the option of weekly payouts | Verified, shown as a green check | Partner Program article; payout schedule |
| KICK Partner Program | Revenue per stream on top of subscriptions and KICKs | Partner Program or KPP; formerly the Creator Incentive Program (KCIP) | streamer.kick.com/partner; KCIP reference |
The rename from KCIP left traces. The Partner Program help article still asks you to follow the “KCIP Terms and Conditions,” and its older web address, which ends in creator-incentive-program-kcip, now redirects to the Partner Program article. The terms you actually accept are published as the Kick Partner Terms and Conditions, which call the program KPP.
Step 1: switch on subscriptions after five hours
The first rung is the easiest. Kick's June 2026 article says the 5-hour requirement is cumulative, so shorter streams spread across several days count, and the Enable Subscriptions button appears in your Streamer Dashboard once you reach it. Progress shows in the Achievements section of the dashboard.
From then on, the revenue split page says you keep 95% of subscription and KICKs revenue. How that stacks up against Twitch, and how payouts reach your bank, is covered in Kick vs Twitch, so this guide stays on eligibility.
Subscriptions feed the later steps. Kick's gifted subscription article says gifted subs count the same as any other subscription toward Partner Program eligibility. Buying subs for your own channel is the opposite case, as the next step explains.
Step 2: get verified before you apply
The Partner Program help article requires a verified channel before you apply, and Kick's help pages point you to the Achievements section to track progress toward its milestones. Verification has its own checklist, which deserves a separate read; what matters here is that the same rules protect both statuses. Kick's grounds for refusal article names conduct that can get verification or Partner status refused or removed, including:
- Repeated Terms of Service violations inside a 30-day period.
- Artificially manipulating statistics, or joining groups that inflate them to hit requirements.
- Paying for subscriptions to your own channel to pad its numbers.
- A gap of 90 days without streaming.
- Mirror streams, blank streams or pre-recorded footage in place of original live content.
- A channel with no VODs for viewers who missed the live stream.
If you are turned down, the same article says to meet the requirements and wait 30 days before reapplying for verification or emailing kickpartners@kick.com again. A revoked verification can be appealed by writing to verify@kick.com with the subject line “Appeal” and your handle.
Step 3: hit the 30-day Partner Program metrics
Kick's help article describes these metrics as a guide that is subject to change while the program is in its early stages, and the partner page prints a slightly different list. The biggest gap: the help article asks for 3 VODs in the past 30 days, while the partner page's requirements list has no VOD line. Track against the stricter version. Fill in the last two columns from your Achievements page.
| Metric | Help article (July 2026) | Partner page | Your last 30 days | Still to close |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Average concurrent viewers | Minimum average of 75 over the past 30 days | Keep an average of 75 | ____ | ____ |
| Hours streamed | 30 hours in the past 30 days | At least 30 hours in the last 30 days | ____ | ____ |
| Active subscriptions | At least 25 in the past 30 days | At least 25 active subscribers | ____ | ____ |
| Unique chatters | 250 in the past 30 days | At least 250 in the last 30 days | ____ | ____ |
| VODs | 3 in the past 30 days | Not listed | ____ | ____ |
| Followers | At least 250 | At least 250 followers | ____ | ____ |
| Verification | Verified before you apply | Verified channel required first | Yes / no | ____ |
| Profile | Relevant social links and a completed About section | About section done and social accounts linked | Yes / no | ____ |
Most of these lines measure only the past 30 days, so a strong month followed by a quiet week can drop you back below the bar before you apply. Record the numbers on the same day each week rather than relying on memory. A busier chat also means more moderation work as you climb toward the unique-chatter target; our streamer safety and moderation setup covers the tools to put in place before the crowd arrives.
Step 4: apply by email or through Fast Track
On the standard path, the help article says to email kickpartners@kick.com from the address on your Kick account and include your username. Meeting every requirement only makes you eligible to apply; Kick still decides.
Fast Track is the route for creators who have already built a following on another platform, and the same article says you do not need to be streaming on Kick yet. You open streamer.kick.com/partner#fast-track, choose Fast Track Now or Check Eligibility, complete the form and receive a confirmation email, and the help article says the Partners team replies within 24 hours of submission. Kick does not publish what counts as an established following, so arrive with evidence a brand would recognize: the platform, audience size from your own analytics, typical live viewership and links. Our influencer media kit template lays that evidence out section by section.
| Your situation | Better first move | Why | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| You stream mainly on Kick and Achievements shows every line met | Standard email to the Partners address | You clear the published bar, and the application is a single email | How to apply |
| Large audience on another platform, little or no Kick history | Fast Track form | Fast Track admits creators without the standard streaming requirements | Fast Track section |
| Close on most metrics but short on one | Keep streaming and recheck weekly | A refusal starts a 30-day wait before you can email again | Reapplying rules |
| Refused or removed in the past month | Wait out the period, then reapply with every line met | Kick asks you to review content strategy and engagement first | Grounds article |
| You will keep streaming to Twitch or YouTube at the same time | Either route, with the multistream toggle on from the first stream | Multistreaming without the toggle breaches the terms, and the rate drops while you multistream | Clause 5.3 |
| Most of your hours sit in gambling or Just Sleeping | Rethink the content mix before applying | Kick demonetizes both categories for Partner revenue | Revenue rules |
Rules that keep Partner revenue flowing
Getting in is half of it. The partner page sets out the rules for generating revenue once you are a member:
- Streams in the Just Sleeping and gambling categories are demonetized.
- No unoriginal content, and no manipulation of views or any other metric.
- Delete VODs only to remove sensitive or potentially leaked data.
- Enable the multistreaming toggle before going live elsewhere; while multistreaming you earn 50% of your usual Kick revenue.
- Do not misrepresent Kick or damage its reputation.
The terms add a sharper consequence. Under clause 6.3 of the Partner terms, if you stream content that is illegal where it is filmed or that breaks the terms, Kick may suspend or ban your streaming and will not pay any fee for the time involved.
Read the Partner terms before you switch them on
You accept the Kick Partner Terms and Conditions by activating the program option in your dashboard. The document is short, and these clauses deserve a slow read:
- Clauses 1.2 to 1.4: a license for Kick to use your name, including your real name, and likeness, and an exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, transferable and sublicensable license over the content you create on Kick that survives your exit from the program.
- Clause 2.1: the amount, rate and calculation of your fees are confidential information you may not disclose.
- Clause 4: Kick withholds tax where the law requires, based on the information you supply.
- Clause 5.3: the relationship is non-exclusive, but multistreaming is allowed only with the toggle on.
- Clause 6.1.5: Kick can end your participation for any reason, or no reason, at its sole discretion.
- Clauses 7.1.8 and 7.1.9: professional conduct on and off Kick, and a promise that you and your affiliates will not criticize, disparage or defame Kick.
- Clause 11.2: Kick's liability is capped at the fees paid to you in the 3 months before the event in dispute.
- Clauses 12 and 13: disputes go through the Terms of Service arbitration clause, and English law governs.
Read literally, an exclusive license over your stream content could clash with plans to reuse the same footage elsewhere, and a non-disparagement promise can cut across contracts you already hold. Ask a lawyer who handles creator or media contracts to review the terms before you activate them if you have a management, sponsorship or platform agreement with exclusivity or content-ownership clauses, or if you plan to repurpose streams on other channels. Streamers under the age of majority where they stream need a parent or guardian to consent under clause 15.
Limitations of this guide
Kick describes its Partner Program metrics as subject to change, its own pages already disagree on the VOD requirement and on what to call the first milestone, and its Fast Track criteria are not published. Treat the tracker as a snapshot of the linked pages, and confirm the current numbers in your Achievements section before you email anyone.
Because the terms keep fee rates confidential, nothing here estimates what the Partner Program pays, and no outside figure should be read as Kick's rate. This is general information about Kick's published rules, not legal or tax advice: the terms are governed by English law, while your tax position depends on where you live, so take questions about the contract to a lawyer and questions about income to a registered tax agent or accountant.
