To remove OnlyFans leaks from Telegram, report each leaked message inside the app, by tapping it on Android, pressing and holding on iPhone or right-clicking on desktop and choosing Report, and, if you own the copyright, email a complaint listing every t.me link to dmca@telegram.org. That copyright route covers Telegram's public platform: channels, bots, sticker sets and public groups. Telegram says it does not process copyright requests about private groups and chats, so leaks inside private spaces depend on in-app reports and, where the facts fit, eSafety or police.
This page covers Telegram's own reporting routes. The full evidence pack behind a copyright notice lives in the copyright takedown evidence pack, and running your own promotional channel is a separate subject covered in the Telegram marketing and private channels guide. This is general information, not legal advice.
What Telegram's terms and FAQ actually allow
Telegram's Terms of Service are short. Users agree not to post illegal pornographic content on publicly viewable channels and bots, and not to engage in activities recognised as illegal in most countries, a list that names sexual extortion and sharing non-consensual intimate images. Breaking the terms can lead to content being restricted or removed, or accounts being suspended or banned. The main terms page does not mention copyright; Telegram's copyright process lives in its FAQ instead.
That FAQ draws the line that shapes every leak case. Private groups and chats are private among their participants, and Telegram says it does not process requests related to them. Sticker sets, bots, channels and groups that are publicly available are a different matter: Telegram says it performs legal checks on reports about potentially illegal public content and takes it down when it deems that appropriate.
Know which kind of t.me link you have
The shape of a link tells you whether Telegram treats the content as public. The patterns below come from Telegram's link documentation.
| Link pattern | What it points to | Public or private | What to capture |
|---|---|---|---|
| t.me/<username> | A channel, group, bot or profile with a public username | Public when it is a channel, group or bot | The username, display title and a capture of the profile page |
| t.me/<username>/<id> | One message in a public channel or group | Public, and the most useful link in a complaint | One link per leaked post, with the date it was posted |
| t.me/c/<channel>/<id> | One message in a private channel or group | Private, outside the copyright route | The link plus a capture taken by someone who is already a member |
| t.me/+<hash> or t.me/joinchat/<hash> | An invite into a private group or channel | The space behind it is private | Where the invite was advertised, which may itself be public |
| t.me/addlist/<slug> | A chat folder bundling invites to private groups and channels | Private destinations | The folder link and the page or post that shared it |
| t.me/addstickers/<slug> | A public sticker set | Public | The set link and a capture of the stickers that copy your work |
| @botname | A bot that sells or sends files on request | Public | The bot username and a capture of its menu or reply |
Telegram report checklist
Collect this once, in one case folder, before you send anything. Telegram's takedown address asks for links such as t.me/... or @..., so links matter more than screenshots, but you want both.
- Copy the link to each individual post, not just the channel, so moderators land on the exact message.
- Take a screenshot that shows the channel name, the post and its date, and note your own time zone.
- If a post carries a forwarded-from header, record the source channel too; it often holds the original upload.
- Note any external file-hosting link in the post, because that host needs its own notice under the evidence pack.
- For bots, record the bot username and capture its reply instead of downloading the files it sends.
- Keep captures in a private folder and do not forward leaked files to friends as proof.
- Do not pay for access to a paid leak group to gather evidence; that funds the people selling your work.
- Never collect or keep material showing anyone under 18. Record only the link and report it to police or eSafety.
Lock down your own account before you report
Reporting from your own account is safer once that account is hard to find and hard to take over. The FAQ says your phone number is visible by default only to people who have saved it as a contact, and you can narrow that further under Settings, Privacy and Security, Phone Number. It also warns that Telegram identifies users by phone number, so whoever controls the number controls the account unless a Two-Step Verification password is set. Turn that password on, add a passkey, which the FAQ describes as more secure than SMS codes, and end any session you do not recognise under Settings, Devices. The wider routine for protecting the number itself is in the SIM swap protection guide.
Step 1: report inside the app
Telegram's safety overview says every Telegram app lets users report messages to moderators, with a reason and an optional comment. Report each leaked message separately and pick the reason closest to what it is. Telegram's privacy policy says moderators may check messages reported to them, which is why one report per post matters more than one report per channel.
- Australia: the FAQ invites users to report illegal content through @AUReportBot under the industry standards that apply to online services in Australia, and it points to eSafety for complaints.
- European Union: Telegram's user guidance for the Digital Services Act sets out the reporting options there.
- Impersonation: if a scammer is pretending to be you, the FAQ says to contact @NoToScam.
- Search terms: the safety overview says search terms used to find illegal content can be reported through @SearchReport.
Step 2: send the copyright notice
For bots, channels, sticker sets or other public content that infringes your copyright, the FAQ asks for a complaint to dmca@telegram.org and says it should come only from the copyright owner or an agent authorised to act for them. Broader illegal content, including non-consensual intimate images, goes to the automated takedown address abuse@telegram.org, again with t.me or @ links. Telegram does not publish a required format, so the template below follows the notice elements the US Copyright Office lists for DMCA notices.
To: dmca@telegram.org. Subject: Copyright complaint, public channel [username]
I am the copyright owner [or: the authorised agent of the copyright owner] of the photographs and videos described below, which were first published at [your page or profile URL].
The following content on Telegram's public platform reproduces those works without permission: [t.me link], [what it shows], [date seen]; [next t.me link], [what it shows], [date seen].
I have a good-faith belief that this use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law. The information in this notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, I am the owner or am authorised to act for the owner.
Contact: [business email]. Signature: [name], [date].
Be precise about ownership. If a photographer shot the set, they may hold the copyright, and the Copyright Office warns that knowingly misrepresenting infringement in a notice can make the sender liable for damages and costs. Its FAQ also notes that an online service is never obliged to comply with a takedown notice, wherever it is hosted, so Telegram's response is its own decision.
When Telegram will not act
Private spaces are the hard case. If a trusted person is already a member, they can report the messages from inside. Otherwise, contact the platform you sell on: SWGfL's guidance for content creators recommends starting with the original platform's DMCA or trust and safety team, because many creator platforms run their own content protection.
- In Australia, Telegram's own FAQ points to eSafety, and the Australian leak response plan sets out when an image-based abuse report fits.
- Go to police if anyone threatens you, demands payment or sells your images alongside threats. Telegram's privacy policy says a valid order from judicial authorities in a criminal case can lead it to disclose a suspect's IP address and phone number.
- Public channel pages can surface in search results; removing leaked content from Google covers delisting them.
- StopNCII does not list Telegram as a partner and does not reach encrypted chats, as explained in how StopNCII works.
- When a banned channel reappears under a new username, log it as a new location and quote your earlier reports.
- If Telegram leaks are constant, compare leak removal services; vendors often reserve Telegram coverage for their higher tiers.
Follow-up log
One row per link. Telegram rarely sends a detailed reply, so the log is how you know what you have already tried.
| Column | What to write |
|---|---|
| Link | The exact t.me post link, bot username or sticker set link |
| Space type | Public channel, public group, private group, bot or sticker set |
| Route used | In-app report, dmca@telegram.org, abuse@telegram.org, @AUReportBot, eSafety or police |
| Sent | Date, time and time zone, plus the email subject line if you emailed |
| Reply | Any automated or written answer, copied word for word |
| Status on recheck | Removed, channel unavailable, still live, moved, or private and not processed |
| Next action | The next route to try and the date you will check again |
Limitations
Telegram decides what to remove and publishes little about individual outcomes. Its FAQ excludes private chats and groups from copyright requests, deleted channels can return under new names, and copies may already sit on other services. What counts as illegal content varies by country, and Telegram's pages can change; this guide reflects them as published on 1 October 2026. It is general information rather than legal advice. Talk to a lawyer if ownership of the content is shared or disputed, if you know who is selling it, or if you are considering court action, and contact police whenever threats or extortion are involved.
