For a broadcaster, Chaturbate and Stripchat put the same value on a token, so the real choice is about rhythm and defaults. Chaturbate pays twice a month once you convert tokens yourself and charges a fee on several payout methods, while Stripchat pays weekly and charges models nothing to withdraw. They also part ways on whether your private shows are recorded, whether your stream is syndicated to partner sites, and how your country is shown to viewers.

Cash flow: twice-monthly against weekly
On Chaturbate, earning tokens and getting paid are separate acts. Tokens wait in your balance until you press convert, and the conversion article asks you to convert before midnight Mountain Time at the end of each period to be paid in full. Miss it and the money simply moves to the next period. Payment then follows within days, but the site describes that gap as 7 business days in its getting-paid guide and as 7 days in its payment frequency answer, so allow for the longer reading.
Stripchat needs no conversion step. Its payment settings guide asks you to make changes by Sunday to be paid the following Tuesday, and the payout frequency article warns that editing your settings on a Monday or Tuesday cancels that week's payout. If you choose Ethereum, USD Coin or Tether, check first that your wallet accepts transfers from smart contracts, because Stripchat says payouts can otherwise be lost.

Chaturbate figures come from its payment options table and daily payout page; Stripchat figures from its methods and minimums article. Chaturbate's wire row is thin because its current payment table no longer lists a regular wire option, even though several other Chaturbate articles still mention wire transfers; ask support before relying on it. Stripchat lists methods by country, so open your own payment settings to see what is offered where you live.
Privacy defaults that differ
The biggest gap is recording. Chaturbate's Terms say private shows are recorded by default and given to the buyer, who gets a perpetual license to view the recording on the platform, unless you turn recording off in Settings & Privacy. On Stripchat the switch starts off, and its recording guide warns that once you enable it, the person in your private show can save a copy even if you discard yours.
Syndication is the second gap. Chaturbate's DMCA page says every account is opted in to affiliate sharing, which shows your live stream and images on partner sites, and that you opt out by setting “Appear on network sites” to no. We found no matching setting in Stripchat's help center. Both sites help with takedowns: Chaturbate sends DMCA notices on your behalf free of charge, while Stripchat routes requests through a third-party service it says can take months.
Region blocking works by IP address on both, and Chaturbate states plainly that the method can be bypassed. Our webcam modeling safety checklist walks through each of these settings before your first stream.
Running both sites: what the rules allow
Neither site forbids working elsewhere. Chaturbate's Terms say broadcasters are free to cam on other sites, and Stripchat's equipment checklist recommends a splitter for anyone streaming to more than one platform. What both restrict is using one room to send viewers to the other. Chaturbate bans soliciting members to any other live-streaming site and bars links in the room subject or location field, and its Code of Conduct goes further by saying not to post links to third-party sites at all, even though the bio editor accepts hyperlinks.
Stripchat's Community Guidelines, updated on 1 October 2026, let you share your own social accounts, messaging platforms and link-in-bio page, but not other cam platforms, payment services or subscription sites. An older help article still says promoting any other company or brand is strictly prohibited; the newer guidelines are the more specific text, so follow them and avoid naming rival sites anywhere on Stripchat. The guidelines also allow paid private shows to run elsewhere only if they stay private or paywalled there.
Two account rules matter too. Stripchat does not allow an active independent account and a studio account at the same time, and it treats broadcasting from two Stripchat accounts at once as a violation. The only comparison that settles this is your own. Run both sites under matched conditions for the same number of streamed hours, then compare what reached your bank. Copy the template into a spreadsheet and fill it in from each site's stats pages.

Two cautions. Both new-account boosts run for a limited window, so a test that starts on both sites in the same week compares two boosted periods, not your long-run results. And Stripchat's earnings statistics page calculates its “My Performance” hourly figure from your last 30 broadcast hours, which is a different window from your test, so use your own block totals instead.
Limitations of this comparison
Both sites update their help centers often, and several Chaturbate articles disagree with each other on timing and methods, so treat every figure here as a snapshot from 1 October 2026 and confirm it in your account. The matrix covers payout, privacy and rule questions only; it says nothing about audience size or what either site will pay you, which depends on your hours, pricing and audience.
