ManyVids keeps either 20% or 40% of each sale, depending on what the member bought, according to its Creator Commission Payout Percentages table, last edited on 1 July 2026: creators receive 80% on Club subscriptions, Custom Vids, tips and store items, 60% on individual vids, Vid Bundles, paid contest votes and Pay To Open messages, and US$0.08 for each Live token. Each weekly payout then loses a fee that depends on your payout method, and nothing is sent until your balance clears the US$50 floor on ManyVids' Payout Information page.
Below are the rates, the payout calendar, method fees, tax forms and the clauses that can hold money back, then a worksheet for your own figures. Whether a clip store suits you better than a subscription page is answered in our ManyVids vs OnlyFans comparison. Everything here was read from ManyVids' help centre, its Terms for Uploaders and the tax authority pages linked below on 1 October 2026.
ManyVids' cut on each type of sale
The split is set per product, not per account, so two creators with identical gross sales can be paid quite different amounts. The commission article warns that its percentages are subject to change, so read this as a dated snapshot.
| Sale type | What the member buys | You receive | ManyVids keeps | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Club | Monthly access to the paid side of your Club feed | 80% | 20% | Commission table |
| Custom Vids | A video made to the member's brief | 80% | 20% | Commission table |
| Tips | A voluntary payment with nothing owed back | 80% | 20% | Commission table |
| Store Items | Goods from your store, shipping charge included | 80% | 20% | Commission table; shipping article |
| Vids | One pre-recorded vid bought on its own | 60% | 40% | Commission table |
| Vid Bundles | Recurring access to the vids you put in the bundle | 60% | 40% | Commission table |
| Contest Votes | Paid votes for your contest entry, won or lost | 60% | 40% | Commission table |
| Pay To Open | A locked inbox message the member pays to open | 60% | 40% | Commission table |
| Tokens | Tokens tipped during an MV Live show | US$0.08 per token | Not stated as a percentage | Token article |
Two details sit outside the table. The commission table labels the US$0.08 token figure a promotional rate tied to MV Live's 80% payout structure, so expect it to move if that promotion ends. And the sale-type filter described in How do I view my recent sales? includes Affiliate Sales and Bonus lines, for which the help centre publishes no rate; read those amounts from the line items rather than applying a percentage.
What shrinks the amount the percentage applies to
The percentage is only half the sum. These items reduce the base it is applied to:
- Your own markdowns. The Discount Manager cuts vids or store items by 10% to 75% for dates you choose, and the member pays the lower price. Discounted sales show in pink or red under Recent Sales.
- Promo codes on recurring services. ManyVids' promo code article says a member who redeems a code on a recurring service keeps the discounted price for as long as they auto-renew, even if you later edit the price. On a Club or Vid Bundle, a code is a lasting cut for that member.
- Sitewide promotions. Events such as Monetize Your Passion Day take money off at checkout “courtesy of ManyVids”, but the article does not say whether your share uses the full or the discounted price. Compare those sales with full-price ones afterwards.
- Refunds, chargebacks and fraud. Section 1.5 of the Terms for Uploaders defines Net Proceeds as the amount charged minus refunds, chargebacks, reimbursements and fraud losses, and section 4.2 takes ManyVids' service fees from that net figure.
- Sales tax. Listed prices exclude tax, which the payment processor may add at checkout, per the checkout charges article. For Canadian creators, ManyVids collects and remits sales taxes itself and never pays them out, according to its Canadian tax article.
Physical goods need one more step. The Store Items shipping article says shipping is paid out at the 80% store rate too, and gives its own example: postage that costs you US$7.99 should be listed at US$9.99. Price shipping so your share still covers postage, packaging and tracking, and keep the receipts, because ManyVids may ask for proof of fulfilment in a dispute.
How each payout method is charged
| Method | Who can use it | Fee per payout | Minimum | Processing time | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Direct deposit | Banks in listed countries, including the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and much of Europe | USD 2.00 for US accounts, USD 5.50 international | US$50 | 5 business days in the methods table; 7 for Canada, the US, Mexico and Panama in the delay article | Payout Information; delay article |
| Paxum | Creators outside the US; US creators only if incorporated, and only by wire or direct deposit | USD 1.00 transfer fee | US$50 | 3 business days | Payout Information; Paxum article |
| Cosmopayment prepaid card | Creators Cosmopayment approves; ManyVids says sign-up can take up to 48 hours and may be declined | Set by Cosmopayment, not listed by ManyVids | US$50 | 3 business days | Payout Information; Cosmopayment article |
The minimum is a floor you can raise but not lower: the payout minimum article says it cannot go below US$50, and the weekly payouts article suggests raising it to pay method fees less often. One wrinkle: the payout delay article describes the minimum payout threshold as “including payout fees”, so a balance sitting exactly at the minimum may roll over to the following week.
Once a method is saved, changes go through help@manyvids.com, per the payment method article. The Terms for Uploaders add that platform amounts are in US dollars, that ManyVids may pay in your local currency at the prevailing exchange rate, and that resubmitting a failed payment can carry an administrative fee.
The weekly payout calendar, step by step
It is easy to read the cycle as “paid every Wednesday for the week just finished”. In fact each week's earnings wait a further week:
- An earnings week runs from 00:00 UTC Wednesday to 23:59 UTC the following Tuesday, and those earnings are then held for 7 days in arrears, per the weekly payouts article.
- The payout is issued on the Wednesday after the hold; the Terms for Uploaders illustrate it with earnings from Wednesday 1 May to Tuesday 7 May paid on Wednesday 15 May.
- Payment methods are frozen from 23:45 UTC Tuesday to 23:45 UTC Wednesday, per Payout Information, so make any change before that window.
- Money arrives after your method's processing time, and a payout date that falls on a holiday moves to the next business day.
- If nothing has landed once processing time has passed, check Payout History under Performance Insights before emailing support, as the payout delay article recommends.
Section 4.6 of the Terms for Uploaders sets the outer limit: payment within seven days of the end of the payout period and no later than fourteen. For cash-flow planning, assume a sale reaches your bank no sooner than the week after next, plus bank time.
Tax forms ManyVids will ask you for
You cannot save a payout method until the “Your Tax Information” section is complete. After that, it depends on where you live.
- US: Form W-9. The Payout Information page requires a W-9 from US citizens and anyone paid by direct deposit to a US bank. The IRS describes Form W-9 as how you give your correct taxpayer identification number to a business that must file an information return about payments to you.
- US: Form 1099-K. ManyVids' Tax Reporting Information article prompts creators who earned, or are projected to earn, US$20,000 or more in a tax year to complete a 1099-K section; the form is issued electronically, with a paper copy posted if you ignore the email. The IRS Form 1099-K page states the federal trigger as payments over US$20,000 in more than 200 transactions, adds that platforms may issue the form below that, and says all income from selling goods or services must be reported whatever a form shows.
- Below the threshold or outside the US. Settings, then US Tax Forms, shows your yearly earnings, ManyVids' company name and its taxpayer identification number, the same article says.
- Canada. A Canadian Tax Forms section takes a federal registration number now or later, and ManyVids remits sales taxes on Canadian creators' sales.
- EU, UK and Canadian platform reporting. ManyVids' DAC7 article says it reports creators there who earn CAD 2,800, EUR 2,000 or GBP 2,000 or more after fees, or make 30 or more sales, counting Custom Vids, Live tokens and listed store items but not pre-recorded non-custom vids or photo sets. HMRC's guidance for digital platform operators words the exemption as 2,000 euros (about £1,700) for fewer than 30 sales of goods and says it does not cover services, so UK creators should treat HMRC's wording as the rule.
Reporting thresholds decide what a platform tells a tax office, not whether your income is taxable. This is general information, not tax advice; a registered tax agent or accountant in your country should confirm how ManyVids income is treated. US creators may also find our guide to 1099 forms and creator deductions useful: it is written for OnlyFans, but the forms are the same.
Weekly net earnings worksheet
Fill in one copy per payout week from My Earnings, then Recent Sales, filtered by sale type. Payout History shows the fee charged and the amount actually sent, according to the payouts view article, so you can check your total against ManyVids' own.
| Line | What to enter | Calculation for this line | Your figure |
|---|---|---|---|
| A | Club, Custom Vid, tip and store item sales at the prices members actually paid | Gross × 0.80, the 80% rate in the commission table | |
| B | Vid, Vid Bundle, Pay To Open and paid contest vote sales | Gross × 0.60, the 60% rate in the commission table | |
| C | Live tokens you converted to earnings this week | Tokens × US$0.08, per the token article | |
| D | Affiliate Sales, Bonus and any line with no published rate | Copy the amount shown on each line | |
| E | Refunds, chargebacks, member credits and other adjustments booked this week | Subtract the amounts shown | |
| F | Your method's payout fee, only in weeks when a payout is sent | Subtract once, using the Payout Information fee | |
| G | Your own costs: postage, props, editing, co-performer pay | Subtract from your receipts | |
| Net | What you keep before bank charges, currency conversion and income tax | A + B + C + D − E − F − G |
Two habits keep it honest. Flag line A or B sales made during a sitewide promotion, since ManyVids does not say which price its percentage uses then. And when a week's balance stays under your minimum, it rolls into the next week, so line F applies only in weeks when money is sent. For projecting months ahead instead of reconciling one week, the assumption-led method in our payout forecast worksheet adapts well to ManyVids' two-rate split.
Rules that can hold back or cancel a balance
Most payout problems are timing problems, but these clauses in the Terms for Uploaders and the No Refund Policy can reduce or remove money already earned:
- Clawbacks. Section 4.10 lets ManyVids deduct member credits, refunds, chargebacks, fraud and technical errors, including from later payouts.
- Store item holdbacks. The same section lets its Risk and Payment team hold back part of your payouts against store item refunds, with the percentage and duration at its discretion.
- Dispute deadlines. Section 6.11.1 expects you to answer member complaints within five business days, or payouts may be withheld.
- Undelivered orders. Under the No Refund Policy, a member can get MV Wallet credit when a Custom Vid or store item is not delivered within 30 days.
- Dormant accounts. Section 4.13 lets ManyVids hold the earnings of an account inactive for 12 consecutive months without valid payout details until you revalidate.
- Closing your account. Section 4.14 forfeits a closing balance under US$20 after set-off and holds undeliverable funds for three years.
- Termination for a serious breach. Section 7.2 forfeits whatever ManyVids owes you if it closes your account for a material violation.
Where ManyVids' own pages disagree
- Direct deposit timing. The Payout Information table says 5 business days; the payout delay article says 7 for Canada, the US, Mexico and Panama. Both were edited on 1 July 2026, so plan on the longer figure.
- Weekly or twice a month. Section 4.2 of the Terms for Uploaders still mentions invoices sent with a “bi-monthly payment”, while section 4.6 and every payout article describe weekly payouts. The weekly schedule is the specific, current rule.
- Two minimums. The weekly threshold in section 4.6 of the Terms is US$50, but the closure clause uses US$20. They do not clash: the lower figure only governs the final balance of a closing account.
- Older third-party guides. Some comparison articles still quote payout fees and splits that no longer match the commission table. Where figures differ, the dated help-centre article is what ManyVids applies.
Limitations of this guide
This reflects ManyVids' public help centre and Terms for Uploaders as read on 1 October 2026. ManyVids says its percentages can change, and holdbacks and adjustments are applied at its discretion, so your dashboard and any notice ManyVids sends you outrank anything here. It does not cover payout availability in every country, how sitewide promotions are credited or what your tax office expects; those limits are why the worksheet works from your own line items rather than estimates. If you are weighing ManyVids against other fan platforms rather than checking payouts, our overview of OnlyFans alternatives compares the wider field.
