How to Cancel OnlyFans Subscription 2026: Step-by-Step Guide (For Subscribers)

The two ways to cancel a subscription

On OnlyFans, cancelling stops the renewal rather than ending your access straight away. The OnlyFans Terms of Use say every subscription renews automatically at the current rate until you switch off the Auto-Renew feature on that creator's account, and the help centre offers a second route through your list of subscriptions. Either works on a phone browser or a computer.

1. From the Following page. Log in at onlyfans.com and open your Following page, which OnlyFans' cancellation article says lists all of your active and inactive subscriptions. Find the creator and click to unsubscribe.
2. From the creator's profile. Open the profile of the creator you no longer want to pay and switch off Auto-Renew there. This is the switch the Terms and the auto-renew article refer to.
3. Repeat for each creator. Subscriptions are separate agreements, so stopping one leaves the others running.
4. Keep proof. Take a screenshot showing renewal switched off, with the date visible, in case you need to query a charge later.

What happens after you cancel

• You keep access until the period ends. The Terms say you can view that creator's content until the end of the subscription period in which you cancelled, after which no further payments are taken and the content is no longer visible to you.
• Your viewing licence ends with the subscription. The Contract between Fan and Creator says the licence to view expires automatically when an active subscription period ends, and also if the creator deletes the content or their account.
• One-off purchases are separate. Paid messages and posts you bought are their own transactions, so cancelling a subscription does not refund them. The same contract notes that creators can remove content, including pay-per-view content, at any time.
• Coming back starts a new subscription. If you subscribe again later, you are billed afresh at whatever the creator charges then.

Refunds: what OnlyFans' terms say

The short answer is that cancelling does not get money back. OnlyFans' cancellation article states that all subscriptions are non-refundable and that you are billed for the full period. Its refund article widens that to tips, streams, paid posts and paid messages, unless there has been a breach of the Terms of Service, in which case you email support@onlyfans.com with the details. Prepaid Wallet credits are non-refundable too.

Consumer law can sit on top of the platform's rules. The contract says it does not affect any statutory refund right you have under UK or EU consumer law, and its waiver of the statutory cancellation period is written to cover purchases other than subscriptions. The EU's Your Europe guide to returns explains the general 14-day right to withdraw from online purchases and its exception for digital content you started streaming or downloading after agreeing to give the right up. UK readers can check Citizens Advice on cancelling services. How those rules apply to one subscription depends on the facts, so ask a local consumer advice service if a large amount is at stake.

Why a subscription renewed when you expected it not to

Discounted subscriptions are the easiest to forget, because the discount ends but the renewal does not. If you took one and only wanted the offer, switch off Auto-Renew the same day.

Finding the charge on your statement

OnlyFans' article on how payments appear on card statements says the line will read “OnlyFans”, “OF” or “OnlyFans.com”. Amounts may not match the price you saw: everything is charged in US dollars, the bank fee article warns that card providers may add conversion fees OnlyFans cannot control, and the Terms add sales tax at the applicable rate.

If you find a charge you do not recognise, work through it in this order:

1. Check your Following page for a renewal you forgot, and your Wallet for top-ups.
2. Look at the login sessions in your Account Settings in case someone else has used your account, and change your password if you see an unfamiliar device.
3. Email support@onlyfans.com with the date and amount if the charge still makes no sense.
4. If the charge was not authorised, contact your card issuer. For US credit cards, the FTC's guide to disputing credit card charges says your letter should reach the issuer within 60 days of the first bill showing the error, and that federal law limits your responsibility for unauthorised charges to $50.

Removing a card, and the Wallet

Cancelling every subscription is enough to stop renewals, but removing payment cards matters for a reason most guides miss. The Terms say that if you give more than one payment method and a payment on the first one fails, OnlyFans will use the other. A card you forgot about can still be charged.

• Cards and the Wallet are managed in the Your Cards section of your profile, according to OnlyFans' Wallet article. Remove any card you no longer want used, and email support if one will not delete.
• The Wallet balance is used first for purchases when it has enough funds, and can pay renewals if you have switched on “Make wallet primary method for rebills”.
• Unused Wallet credit is not refunded, so top up only what you plan to spend.
• Daily payment limits are set by OnlyFans, and its payment limits article says to email support if you want yours changed.

Closing your fan account entirely

If you want to leave OnlyFans altogether, deleting the account goes further than cancelling. The fan account deletion article says to open Settings, select Delete Account and follow the instructions; you lose access to any active subscriptions straight away, receive a confirmation email, and cannot restore the account later. Some guides claim deletion leaves renewals running, but the Terms say OnlyFans will not charge a deleted fan account for any further subscriptions. Switching off renewals first and keeping the confirmation email costs nothing and gives you a record.

Watch out for fake support phone numbers

Search for help cancelling and you will find pages advertising an “OnlyFans support” phone line. OnlyFans' own customer support article lists only its contact form and support@onlyfans.com, so treat any number as a third party at best and a scam at worst. Never read out card details, log-in codes or your password to someone who calls or texts you about a subscription; the FTC's phishing guidance describes the same tactics. OnlyFans' DMCA page adds that cancellation requests sent to its copyright agent will not get a response, so use the support channels instead.

Cancellation checklist

• Every subscription on the Following page shows renewal switched off, one creator at a time.
• Any discounted subscription has been switched off before its promotion ends.
• A dated screenshot of each change is saved.
• Spare cards are removed from Your Cards, so no fallback card can be charged.
• The Wallet holds no more credit than you intend to spend.
• Statement lines reading OnlyFans, OF or OnlyFans.com have been matched to purchases you recognise.
• If you are leaving for good, the account is deleted and the confirmation email is kept.
• Support contact has gone only through the contact form or support@onlyfans.com.
